In May 2024, the Hospitality Cart program was introduced at the Lautoka Aspen hospital.
The Hospitality Cart is provided for pediatric patients receiving treatment at Lautoka hospital and their family members. It is for the comfort of families, to relieve them temporarily from the stress of dealing with a sick or injured child.
The hospitality cart carries some of the needs that families would need while in hospital, which includes, snacks, bottled water, juice, selected hygiene items and activity books and puzzles. There will be assigned staff and or volunteers to stock the cart and deliver the goods around the wards including NICU & ICU and ensuring that families and their hospitalized child are supported and looked after. This occurs at least 3 times a week – Monday’s, Wednesday’s & Friday’s.
All items on the cart are given to families without any charge.
This free resource is used often, so we’re always in need of donations to keep it filled and rolling.
